In this episode I talk about how modern day stress is impacting our body in a negative way and for those who are seeking weight loss how it can actually prevent you from seeing results.
Stress is unavoidable especially in today busy world. Financial, Work, Family, Technology and lack of time all contribute towards stress and with more and more people struggling to cope its time to get a handle on stress so it doesn't come out in the form of anxiety, depression, heart disease, high blood pressure or cholesterol.
I go into the adaptations that occur in the body when we are stressed. What happens if stress is prolonged over time and what you can do about it.
Are you a Monday to Friday dieter but then find yourself undoing all your hard work over the weekend? Do you feel out of control with your nutrition at weekends? You are not alone, this is a very common issue people struggle with when "dieting" and it's preventing them from seeing results.
Having worked with many women over the last 7 years as a Personal Trainer it's a pattern I have seen so often and it's a cycle that can be hard to break.
